Emergency Communications Trailer Battery Upgrade

The Challenge

Australia Post operates a fleet of 6 emergency communication trailers designed to provide Starlink-enabled internet access to staff and communities affected by bushfires, floods, and other crises. These trailers must remain fully charged and deployment-ready at all times. The existing LiFePO4 batteries were ageing, unreliable and unable to provide the confidence Australia Post required for critical emergency response operations.

The Solution

Australia Post selected ARVIO Technology, to upgrade each trailer with the Arvio Titan LTO battery system. This long-life technology is supported by the EJOS battery management platform, allowing Australia Post to monitor battery health 24/7 and ensure readiness across all sites. The remote platform also provides for the management of inverters and chargers, all from a single app thanks to the advanced features within the software.
