The Challenge

Smart Commercial Energy developed a large commercial renewable energy site in Sydney featuring a 160 kW solar system, a Tesla Megapack, 15 Tesla Powerwalls, and four EV chargers. While the infrastructure was supplied by the same manufacturer, the site quickly encountered a key operational issue.

The batteries were not sequencing their charge and discharge cycles, meaning stored solar energy was not being optimised before drawing power from the grid.

Without coordinated control, the system could not fully maximise the available solar generation or the storage capacity across multiple battery assets. The client required a solution that could deliver true interoperability and intelligent energy management across all installed batteries.

The Solution

Arvio Technology installed the EJOS™ intelligent energy management system to coordinate and optimise the entire site. The system enabled seamless orchestration of all battery assets and EV charging infrastructure.
